Through this integration, OMPAY e-wallet users can now seamlessly send money from Oman to over 200 countries and territories around the world

DATE – MoneyGram, a financial technology company creating trusted global payments and financial solutions for an increasingly connected world, today announced a new partnership with OMPAY, Oman’s emerging mobile payment solutions provider. The partnership enables individuals in Oman to send money worldwide from the OMPAY e-wallet, reaching loved ones in over 200 countries and territories through MoneyGram’s cross-border payments network.

MoneyGram’s integration with OMPAY marks a significant milestone, as it brings a digital remittance service in Oman. This announcement expands MoneyGram’s digital presence in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), building on its existing partnerships in Saudi Arabia with Barq, Mobily Pay, Urpay, Saudi National Bank and ARB, In Qatar with Ooredoo, in UAE with Botim, e& money and Comera Pay, and in Bahrain with Beyon Money.

This growth highlights a rising demand for convenient and secure mobile payment solutions.
